Pune district reports 139 more Covid cases

PUNE Pune district reported 139 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours. This took the progressive count to 1.45 million of which 1.43 million have recovered, 20,509 deaths and 1,224 are active cases.

As per the state health department, Pune rural reported 56 new Covid cases which took the progressive count to 425,188 and the death toll stood at 7,143. Pune city reported 70 new cases which took the progressive count to 679,565 and the death toll stood at 9,427. PCMC reported 13 new Covid cases and the progressive count went up to 347,088 and the toll stood at 3,589.

As per the Co-WIN dashboard, Pune district saw registration of total 17.44 million doses till Saturday. Of which 9.52 million are first doses, 7.67 million second and 246,394 precautionary doses. A total of 439 sites saw vaccination of which 343 were government centres and 96 private.
