Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday dedicated to the nation a building of the Rashtriya Raksha University at Dehgam in Gandhinagar. Union home minister Amit Shah, governor Acharya Devvrat and chief minister Bhupendra Patel were present at the event.
He will also deliver the first convocation address of the university .
Earlier in the day, Modi took part in a roadshow starting from Chiloda to Dehgam in Gandhinagar district. He rode in an open jeep with Gujarat chief minister Bhupendra Patel.
On Friday, less than 24 hours after his party won a historic mandate in Uttar Pradesh and retained power in three other states, Modi hit the campaign trail in his home state with a grand roadshow in Ahmedabad.
