Palam Vihar together celebrated Teej n Rakhi Festival

Gyaananda School, Sector 109, Dwarkaexpressway, Gurgaon was the title sponsor of “Teej and Rakhi
Mela”, Goa Country Club. The event was organized as a community outreach programme to
strengthen the bond between the society and ultimately the nation. The Silver Sponsors comprised of
Bellamente Preschool, Suraj Electronics, and Zenith Real Estate.

The event was organized at Goa Country Club, Palam Vihar, a distinctive and special place where
everyone felt valued and imagination came alive to mark the celebration of Teej and Rakhi Mela.
The event took up with excitement as the Chief Guest, Sh. Zile Singh F/O Rakesh Daulatabad , MLA
Badshahpur Vidhansabha ,Chairman, Haryana Agro Industries corporation entered the event. The
Guest of Honour, Mr. Rajan Sagar, President, Palam Vihar Residents Association graced the event with
his presence.

Shri Nakul Gupta ji, honourable CEO, Gyaananda School, beautified the event by taking
responsibility to assist the neighbouring society and entire Palam Vihar Residents Association
with different community outreach programmes. Dr. Deepika Rathi, Principal, Gyaananda
School said, “I am honoured to be a part of the big event, and we must encourage young talent
so that they lead to success in the future.” Gyaananda School students enthralled the
audience with their captivating dance performances.

The event showcased the fusion of trends followed in ”Sawan ka Maheena”. The stalls were
put with a totally mesmerizing collection from Lakhnavi chikankari embroidery to Punjabi
Phulkari work, designer apparel, a curated collection of stunning rakhis, and the charm of
some ethnic and eclectic jewellery made every head turn. The entrance of the place was
embraced with Jhoolas (swings) in order to promote the old age Teej custom. Rightly referred,
‘Teej, a much-awaited festival for women denoted joy, hope, and a much-needed break from
their mundane life.

The Mela was a complete catch with its amazing stalls, cultural performances, and lip￾smacking street food stalls of chole bhathure, kulfis, samosas, and many other mouth￾watering snacks available. To make the festival more lively and happening, arrangements for
live dance and Mr. & Mrs. Teej were also there.

Teej event brought together a kaleidoscope of creative talent from each corner of the city. To discover
these hidden jewels, abundant support was provided by the supporting dance judges Ms. Nidhi
Bhardwaj from Moves_n_Waves, Ms. Garima Oberoi from Nritya Naaj Dance Studio, Ms.
Michelle Magar from RDC Dance Troupe & Mr. and Ms. Teej judges, Dt. Shallinii .A.Kumarr,
Ms. Karishma Gupta from Saakaar Creations, Ms. Renny Sharma form Arth Yoga, Ms. Rashmi
Raghuvanshi from Ista Welness & Ms. Manisha Chaudhary from Dressgenie.
