Mumbai Indians clinched their second Women’s Premier League (WPL) title by defeating Delhi Capitals by 8 runs in the 2025 final.
Batting first, Mumbai posted 149/7, with Harmanpreet Kaur leading the charge with a brilliant 66 off 44 balls. Nat Sciver-Brunt added a crucial 30 runs.
Delhi Capitals, chasing 150, were restricted to 141/9 in 20 overs. Sciver-Brunt was exceptional with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 30 runs, and Amelia Kerr contributed with 2 wickets.
Marizanne Kapp was the top scorer for Delhi, making 40 runs, while Jemimah Rodrigues chipped in with 30.
