Kiara Advani shared pictures of herself performing bridesmaid’s duties as her sister Ishita Advani got ready for her wedding ceremony. Kiara took to Instagram Stories to share a series of photographs that showed her and the bride-to-be all dressed up for the wedding. In one of the pictures, Kiara is seen marking with kohl on her sister’s neck to ward off evil eyes. “Nazar na lage (Let no one’s evil eye be on you),” Kiara wrote, adding a red heart emoji and tagging her sister in the picture. Ishita, who is tying the knot with her fiance Karma Vivan, was dressed in a red Sabyasachi lehenga for her wedding, which she paired with dark green jewellery, gajra (flower garland for hair), and her bridal chooda (bangles).

Another picture shared by Kiara showed her in an orange and golden lehenga. She had her hair tied up in a tight bun which was accessorised with yellow roses. The sisters posed together in another picture in which Ishita was seen sitting on a chair with one of her dupattas resting on its back. Kiara had her hands on the bride-to-be’s shoulders.

Earlier, Kiara had shared videos of her dancing with Ishita at one of her pre-wedding festivities. They were joined by a number of friends and family members as they danced to For Aisha, from The Sky Is Pink, by MEMBA, Evan Giia, and Nooran Sisters. She had also shared pictures from Ishita’s bachelorette party on her Instagram Stories.

Kiara had posted about her sister’s engagement to Karma Vivan in 2019 as she welcomed her to-be brother-in-law to her family. Sharing a picture of the couple, she had written on Instagram, “There’s nothing better than seeing my sister Soooo happy and that’s what you bring to all our lives @karmavivan ! Welcoming my brother to the family. . you passed with flying colours! First addition to our family! We love you and can’t wait for all the fun times ahead and to share this amazing journey together! I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness #IshiGotHerKarma.”

The actor will be seen next in Jug Jugg Jeeyo alongside Varun Dhawan. The film, scheduled for a release on June 24, also stars Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, and Prajakta Koli.
