Alia Bhatt has landed in the Maldives for a family getaway ahead of her 29th birthday. The actor shared a new picture from her vacation on her Instagram account on Monday, a day after she was seen leaving Mumbai on a private plane with her mother Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt. The actor shared a picture of her morning view on Instagram, that showed her sitting in front of a pool while her sister Shaheen enjoyed swimming. A cup of coffee could be seen in Alia’s hand. She captioned it, “today’s view.” Meanwhile, Shaheen also shared a picture of Alia on her Instagram account.
Alia, who was dressed in an all-black outfit and sunglasses, had a stern expression in the picture. Shaheen joked in the caption, “As you can see we’re very happy to be on holiday.” She shared another picture, a selfie with Alia, in which the sisters were seen smiling. She added emojis of a fish and a parrot in the post.
It is unclear if Alia’s boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor will be joining her on her birthday by flying out there.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi has become a box office success by grossing over ₹100 crore since its release earlier this month. The actor is now preparing for the release of SS Rajamouli’s RRR with Ram Charan and Jr NTR on March 25.
She will also be seen opposite boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The film, scheduled for a release on September 9 this year, also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. In addition, Alia is working with Ranveer Singh on Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan.
