The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is poised to captivate cricket fans worldwide with its return after an eight-year hiatus. Scheduled from February 19 to March 9, 2025, the tournament will feature eight elite teams competing across various venues in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Tournament Structure
The tournament will commence with a group stage, followed by semi-finals and a final. The eight participating teams are divided into two groups:
- Group A: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand
- Group B: Afghanistan, Australia, England, South Africa
Each team will play three group-stage matches, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 and 5, with the final on March 9.

The matches are scheduled across multiple venues to accommodate the participating teams and ensure a smooth tournament flow.
- Group Stage Matches: From February 19 to March 2, 2025, the group-stage matches will be held at the following venues:
- National Stadium, Karachi: Matches on February 19, 21, 27, and March 1
- Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai: Matches on February 20, 23, and March 2
- Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore: Matches on February 22, 26, and 28
- Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi: Matches on February 24 and 25
- Semi-Finals and Final: The semi-finals are scheduled for March 4 and 5, with the final on March 9. The venues for these matches are:
- First Semi-Final: Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai
- Second Semi-Final: Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore
- Final: The venue will be determined based on the teams that qualify. If India qualifies, the final will be held in Dubai; otherwise, it will be in Lahore.
