Karnataka Muslims are observing a bandh today against the recent High Court verdict upholding the ban on Hijab in classrooms. The call for shutdown was given by Muslim organisations in Karnataka yesterday to express their ‘sadness and disappointment’ with the verdict. Shops and commercial establishments are closed in Muslim-dominated areas of Karnataka and the situation so far is peaceful. Watch this video for more details.
