The BJP’s Gujarat unit shared a clip from the roadshow, as the Prime Minister, wearing a saffron cap and dressed in all-white, is seen flashing victory sign towards supporters standing on both sides of the road.
In all, the roadshow travelled a distance of 9 kilometres, beginning at the Ahmedabad airport, and concluding at the BJP’s Gujarat headquarters, called ‘Kamalam,’ in Gandhinagar, the state capital.
Before leaving for this two-day visit, which will end on Saturday, PM Modi tweeted: “Leaving for Gujarat, where I will be attending various programmes today and tomorrow. At 4 PM today, will address a Panchayat Mahasammelan, where several representatives from Panchayati Raj institutions will attend.”
