Ajay Devgn admits kids Yug Devgan, Nysa Devgan correct him when he gets fads wrong: ‘Pops this is old fashion’

Ajay Devgn has always maintained that he isn’t someone who runs after fads or trends. The actor largely keeps a low profile and stays away from the newest trends on social media. However, in a recent interaction, the actor admitted that whenever he does need to keep himself abreast of what is trending, he turns to kids Nysa and Yug. Ajay is married to actor Kajol and the two have two children. Their daughter Nysa Devgan is 18 while son Yug is 11. Both of them are often seen in social media pictures shared by Kajol and Ajay. In a new interview, Ajay spoke about how he tries to understand the new-age fads with the help of his kids.

In conversation with India Today, Ajay said, “I think we all learn from the younger generation. If we have to keep up with the world, we need to understand from them. Apart from my kids, my nephews, and everybody who is younger around me, we actually ask them what’s cool because the language is also changing every three months. I mean there are terms which are used and then you learn that term and use it and after three months, they turn around and say ‘Pops, this is old fashion!’”

The actor added that this was the need of the hour because one must keep up with the times. “So you need to keep up and to do that, you need to have lots of conversations and need to learn from them. This is what I believe,” he said.

Ajay was recently seen in the web series Rudra, which is the Indian adaptation of Luther. The series, which began streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on March 4, has been received well by critics with special praise for Ajay’s performance. The actor also had an extended cameo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Alia Bhatt-starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi.
