Anil Kapoor has shared pictures and videos from his and son Harshvarrdhan Kapoor’s archery practice. He mentioned how hard the sport is and has claimed that while Harshvarrdhan could manage to learn the sport, he couldn’t get it right. The father-son duo will be seen together in two upcoming projects: the Abhinav Bindra biopic and Netflix film Thar. Sharing the pics and videos on Instagram, Anil wrote, “There is no excellence in archery without great labor. — Maurice Thompson. Realised how hard @harshvarrdhankapoor had worked on his skill of archery. I tried my hand at it but couldn’t get it right. Truly a sport that requires lots of discipline and hard-work…”

In the pictures, Anil is seen taking an aim with a bow and arrow in his hands. A video shows him focussing hard at the sport. Another video shows Harsshvardhan hitting the bull’s eye during practice in a backyard. One more video shows him practising archery while riding a horse.

A fan reacted to the post, “Looking like the great arjuna, love you always.” Another commented, “Wah Lakhan (anil kapoor).” One more fan joked, “Majnu bhai bas yahi baki rh gya tha (this is all that was left to be done)?” One more comment read, “Anil Sir … Started A New Career.”

The Abhinav Bindra biopic had gone on floors long ago but has been delayed. Anil will be seen as Harshvarrdhan’s father in the film.

They had shared several stills from their Netflix film Thar last month. The stills showed Anil Kapoor in khaki uniform, standing with fellow policeman (played by Satish Kaushik) in Thar desert. Harshvarrdhan was seen in a rugged look, riding an open jeep as if on the run from the police. Fatima Sana Shaikh was seen as a rural woman from Rajasthan. Thar is set in 1980s and follows the story of a man who moves to a big town to seek a job and avenge his past.
