PM Modi unveils 9.5-ft tall Shivaji statue, buys ticket for Metro ride in Pune

PM Modi unveiled a 9.5-feet tall statue of great Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The statue is made up of 1,850 kg of gunmetal and is about 9.5-feet tall. Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis and Murlidhar Mohol were also present. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated the Pune metro rail project. PM Narendra Modi travelled in the train after himself buying a ticket from a kiosk. During the 10-minute ride, PM Modi interacted with differently-abled students present inside the metro coach.
