Punjab on Saturday reported 31 fresh Covid cases taking the infection count to 7,58,673, according to a medical bulletin

Punjab on Saturday reported 31 fresh Covid cases taking the infection count to 7,58,673, according to a medical bulletin.

With no Covid-related fatality, the death toll in the state stood at 17,723. The state’s positivity rate has also come down to 0.17%, the bulletin said.

Among districts, Mohali topped the list with four Covid cases followed by three each in Gurdaspur and Jalandhar.

With 52 persons recovering from the virus, the number of cured persons in the state has reached 7,40,696.

Active cases in the state have also come down to 254, the bulletin said.

A total of 39,197 people were vaccinated on Saturday.
